Dr. Francis Ting holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Manchester, and MS and PhD degrees from the California Institute of Technology. He teaches fluid mechanics and hydraulic engineering and conducts basic and applied research in river and coastal hydraulics at South Dakota State University.
