Dr. Niemann is the Faoro Professor of Water Resources in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Colorado State University. He earned his Ph.D. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Niemann's research interests center on soil moisture mapping and downscaling.
