Dr. Aritra Banerjee has recently joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the South Dakota State University (SDSU) in Brookings, SD. His research interests include unsaturated soils, expansive soils, geothermal energy, geotechnical earthquake engineering, numerical modeling of complex geotechnical systems, and coastal geotechnics.
