Project Objective

An MPC funded research project "HOV Evaluation" was completed in 2002. The goal of the project is to add to the findings of the original study.

Project Abstract

An MPC funded study has shown that High Occupancy Vehicle lanes constructed in association with the re-construction of the I-15 are effective. This study will extend the study through a more extensive field data collection exercise. In this way, the validity of the original project (HOV I) will be extended.
